This is a book redesign proposal for Robin Stevens' "Murder Most Unladylike" series. The story follows a girl who tries to solve the murder of her teacher at a prestigious boarding school. Having that in mind I could start thinking about my redesign.

Process
My main objective was to incorporate elements of mystery since the book revolves around a girl's quest to uncover her teacher's murderer. To achieve this, I began by handwriting the typography with a marker and experimenting with the orientation of the title. Once I was satisfied with the final product, I digitized the font in Adobe Illustrator. Next, I designed the elements that I wanted to include in the book cover, and played around with the layout until I was happy with the result. My aim was to create a design that would capture the essence of the book and entice readers to pick it up.
